Mountain larch is our answer to Siberian larch. In the growing regions of the Central European Alps at elevations above 1,600 m above sea level, this species grows under conditions similar to those in Siberia. Its density reaches approximately 600 kg/m³ and is therefore significantly more robust than larch from lowland areas. With its fine annual rings, mountain larch achieves durability class 2 (“durable”) even when untreated (in accordance with EN 350), making it exceptionally well suited for outdoor use. The decking boards are planed smooth on all four sides, and the longitudinal edges are rounded with a 3 mm radius. The terrace boards should be face-fixed with stainless steel (INOX) screws.
