Solid wood and modified wood in the garden
The customer for wood in the garden appreciates the natural look and the ecological aspects. Wood binds CO2, other materials emit it. Thanks to the good insulating properties of wood, the material heats up much less than plastic or stone when exposed to sunlight. Wood is a natural product and ages differently than other materials. Greying due to UV radiation is a natural process by which wood protects itself against weathering. Wood therefore needs regular care to remain long-lasting and beautiful.
COMPOSITES (HPC AND HPC COSHIELD®)
Composite materials have constantly gained market share over wooden decks in recent years. HPC is aimed at customers who want to avoid the time-consuming maintenance of wood. No end-customer guarantee can be given on wood because the influences are too varied: because the environmental impacts are too diverse. With composite materials, on the other hand, guarantees of between 10 (HPC) and 25 (HPC CoShield®) years are guaranteed.
